Just voted. Would’ve been easier if I’d already received my EasyVote card. Quite a big line of people and others left as it took awhile for some people to get sorted.

At a large and very sad funeral today, I thought about the diamond of a person we were farewelling. Sometimes that diamond only shows their sharp side. Often it’s not till their very funeral that you get to see how they shone in the many other aspects of their life.

Why do people at WINZ act like they’re giving straight out of their own pocket? My son is autistic and now receives a disability benefit. But only after 6 months of calls, a letter from the doctor and help from a friend who had gone through the rigmarole too. Then the questions…

Anyone else with synaesthesia out there? I hear music all the time… people’s names sing to me and often I have to play them and write them down. I loved during last year’s secret Santa being able to write my giftee’s name song and send it to them. 🎶

So aside from the chopping boards, the past few years I've been putting out a calendar. Last year I didn't as I was unable to find a printer (in last years messed up world).
I still don't have one this year, but there will be a calendar!
