The original Shameless peaked very early. Just seen how long it went on for and am really surprised, I started to lose interest a few episodes after Veronica and Ken were written out and gave up a bit after that.

He isn't really denying what he did but even more significant is that he is not attacking his accusers, saying they are lying, let alone threatening legal action. He knows which way this would go, he's just hoping he can ride this out within a few days.

So the soundtrack to the film that was referenced in Guns of Brixton which was covered by Jimmy Cliff. Have always loved how he sort of closed the loop on that.
