Text: Three simple changes could transform this situation: 1/ Re-establishing the School Street with ANPR, 2/ Making up the road with green infrastructure for drainage, and 3/ Installing zebra crossings with bulb-outs on routes leading to the school - particularly Foxgrove/Westgate Road

Text: In 2022 Bromley Council set up a School Street to improve air quality and traffic safety - this was a bit better, even if it didn't resolve the flooding. But the council wouldn't buy ANPR cameras to monitor the School Street, so it was shut down by late 2022. Sign showing traffic sign for school street with black plastic covering the top half.

Text: When it rains, the unsealed road turns into a series of giant puddles - not just the roadway but the pavement too. However, the road is unadopted and Bromley Council doesn't hold legal responsibility to maintain it, so they won't do anything to fix the road.
