Be careful out there, people!

Multiple reports of cyclists being mugged for their bikes by moped gangs.

Shirley Church Road (Croydon) and College Road (Dulwich) targeted in recent days.

Keep an eye out for these scumbags and report anything suspicious to the police!

Planning permission refused for Bromley Civic Centre redevelopment, due to a lack of natural light for the proposed flats, as well as inadequate waste storage and too many parking spaces
Bromley Council: Sells its old civic centre to a property developer to convert it into flats.

Property developer: Can I have permission to convert it into flats.

Bromley Council: Nope.

"A child is killed every day on our roads, yet cars are being made so large that children are invisible from the driver’s seat. How is that acceptable?"

New @transenv.bsky.social @cleancitiescampaign.org‬ study shows car bonnet heights have risen hugely. We need a legal height limit. #Carspreading

Research with @transenv.bsky.social finds that average bonnet height in newly-sold cars is increasing by 0.5cm a year, reaching 83.8cm in 2024, up from 76.9cm in 2010.

This increases severity of crashes & reduce drivers’ visibility. Clear need for regulation.

When this person woke up this morning, they didn’t say to themselves:

“I’m going to make my city’s streets safer, air cleaner, traffic lighter, neighborhood quieter, and medical and maintenance bills cheaper.”

Yet they do all of that anyway. Why? The right choice is designed to be the easy choice.
