They revel in their cruelty. It's sickening. Some days something will happen and there's a glimpse of hope. Then they remind you of how truly evil they are and that slight hope is replaced with despair. :(

I've gotta say, politicians in Maryland are rock stars! Governor Moore is awesome, Jamie Raskin is king of the House and always brings the receipts, and now Senator Van Hollen, showing the rest of Congress what can be accomplished if you just get up off your ass and try!

I called Sen. Alsobrooks, Sen. Van Hollen, and Rep. Delaney yesterday to thank them for standing up for what's right. I left messages for two, but spoke with a staffer for Alsobrooks and ended up crying. Wasn't expecting that, but wasn't expecting concentration camps, no due process either. 😞

Exactly, and the more pressure and the bigger the spotlight on this horrific situation the more public outrage. If it wasn't for this, we wouldn't even know if he was still alive...more importantly, his family wouldn't know. I'm thankful to my Senator for his bravery!
