I am having so much fun getting the reveals in-game I don’t want to risk it!! To satisfy your curiosity I’ll just say it is a puzzle game with a grayscale palette.

It’s been really fun to play together, though. He loves that he can watch someone get all the “aha” moments (there are very few streamers/YTers doing this game) and I get to have him gently nudging me toward solutions when I’m stumped

St. Brigid by Alice Starmore! I highly recommend the book it's from, Aran Knitting, if you have any interest in cable knitting www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

Alice Starmore: “I designed these knotwork panels for maximum dramatic effect. The plaited collar band echos Celtic torcs and bracelets.”

And here’s your annual PSA to quit brining and basting and all that other busywork. Turkeys taste better the less you do to them. lifehacker.com/simple-roast...

First pic here is knitted sideways, with the stripes in texture differences rather than different colors. It has a diagonal neckline. Second has embroidered lines and a textured front panel. Third one has a zipper! Fourth has pockets!

I can read French well enough to understand them, but the instructions are like “knit a sweater and make it look like the picture”

That said I know knitting well enough I could do that. I just need infinite time and yarn to make them all.

Here's a collection of the evidence presented on the AskHistorians subreddit. Sounds like the available texts support the idea of a toilet brush over that of an awkward bum-wiper www.reddit.com/r/AskHistori...

The blue and white speckled one is Emily Dormier’s Quick Ombre Hat. One of the plain white hats is a Purl Soho pattern I can’t remember the name of.

The rest I made up out of my head. Some of the colorwork and cables were from charts I had in books. Some were just totally on the fly. I had fun.

My DM is not fazed by probing questions but the npc townmaster seemed a little surprised that his offhand comment about “all I do is handle building permits” led my character to ransack the house/office for documents that might be useful later
