Getting up early is hard! Hand drawn comic by me in pastels and blue ink, assembled in Procreate
Handmade comic with 6 panels in blue ink with yellow and blue pastel background. Panel 1 - a woman in an Icelandic jumper reads 3 news stories saying that exercise early in the morning is good for you. The panel is yellow Panel 2 - the woman tells a man that she is going to get up at 5am tomorrow to do some exercise. The man is shocked. The panel is yellow Panel 3 - the woman is lifting weights while a clock shows 5am in the corner. There is a plant looking droopy to her left. The panel is mostly in blue pastel with a little bit of yellow at the top left Panel 4 - the woman is stretching while the word, “Yawn” stretches with her. The panel is now 50/50 in blue and yellow and the plant looks less droopy Panel 5 - there are legs flying off to the right of the panel while the word, “yikes!” is outlined in a star shape. The panel is now mostly yellow with a small bit of blue in the bottom right and the plant is fully awake. Panel 6 - the woman and the man are asleep in bed while a clock shows 5am and the sentence, “maybe I’ll try again in the summer” is written over their bed. This panel is entirely in a blue sleep bubble
