i don't have an "official" map for Moonshadow but I do use Inkarnate to draft out where significant locations are so I'm not confusing readers (and myself) by saying a journey of several hundred miles only took an afternoon on foot

last week I posted about Rhea's moonstone circlet. she only regularly wears one other piece of enchanted jewelry, which i promise, looks much cooler than my clip art ass rendition.
she only wears it once she gets to the capital city... no need, before then. any guesses on what this ring does?

This year, I read a LOT of Octavia Butler's work. Inhaled it. Absolutely inhaled it. Her advice for writers in the short essay Furor Scribendi has always struck something with me. It might for you, too. These "rules" are adapted from her Furor Scribendi, which you should absolutely read.

i've never claimed to be a graphic design person. but i heard you like tropes. i think i'll remake this when i have a real cover but for now, enjoy the stand-in.
