I miss the days of large PC game boxes which came with the DVD (or CD or multiple floppies), a huge instruction manual with lore, maps and other extras

I remember the good old days when some dlc was free such as free units every week in Total Annihilation. Or when an Expansion Pack was pretty much a full blown game.
