Malaysia pirating gives me what the companies that own the rights to my favorite shows won't, and that's dvds of my said shows. Sure, the quality isn't great (personally, I would prefer higher quality blu-ray discs) but it's good quality for pirated dvds and honestly there's a weird charm to them.

So not only did I rediscover a show of my early childhood, but also why, even at such a young age, I didn't think people should obey gender stereotypes. This boy character that was accepted by his friends and community is what first influenced the viewpoint of accepting others as they are.

I finally found the show that I was obsessed with as a little kid that I kept vaguely remembering in blurry patches for over 20 years to the point where it was this close 🤏 to being completely forgotten. God it's like reconnecting with an old childhood friend that I never thought I'd see again. 🥲

Mine was a Magic School Bus bus large enough to fit average sized action figures of Ms. Frizzle and her class, that had different attachments you could change the bus into like a spaceship, a submarine, a dolphin, a time machine, a blimp, a triceratops, a plane, a drill, a helicopter, etc.
