My second Summer & Winter tea towels samples using 10/3 white cotton warp and 8/2 weft at 18 EPI. Rainbow colors for some cheer. The blocks are a simple Fibonacci series, 1-2-3-5-8. A Fun weave!

My second Summer & Winter tea towels samples using 10/3 white cotton warp and 8/2 weft at 18 EPI. Rainbow colors for some cheer. The blocks are a simple Fibonacci series, 1-2-3-5-8. A Fun weave!

For this Summer & Winter sample, I'm using 10/3 cotton warp and weft at 24 EPI. It is a pretty tight sett. The pattern weft is 3/2 Valley Yarns cotton in Pine Green.

Summer & Winter drafts were kicking my butt till I found this little insert in Mary Elizabeth Laughlin's book "More Than Four". Rule No. 1...that's the key! (At least it was for me.) I'm ready to continue warping up my sample.

I finally finished the Houndstooth Scarf weaving project. I love the colors and I'm happy with how the selvages came out. It's finished with a hemstitch and short tassels. Enjoy!

I'm exploring more weaving patterns on my Ashford Rigid Heddle loom. I'm currently weaving a houndstooth scarf. Weaving on a 7.5 dpi heddle, and a total of 80 ends. It's Cascade 220 Worsted Weight wool in Pumpkin Spice and Butter. I plan to end with a short fringe.
