I struggle to understand why people like AI so much. It's unreliable and untrustworthy whilst using massive amounts of resources to function. I really hope it's a bubble that bursts very soon.

I think the portal was a good idea in principle, but they should have made it an option if you want something to do, not the main focus of the game after you finish the story.

The only sport I really want to see on here is F1, then I'll be able to leave Twitter.

Precious Scars is a good shout because it's a fugly helmet, but its utility is difficult to ignore. The only ornament for it makes it look even worse, like you've got a sack over your head!

I'm a car guy and I genuinely thought you did a good job last time.

If you're doing Cyberpunk I'd love to see your take on the Qudra cars, particularly the Avenger. I know you didn't enjoy doing the 911 but you did a good job of it.

The infusion calculator.

Half of the flat pack furniture my place sells place the barcode on the bottom of the box, which is great fun when you're stock taking as you can probably imagine.

This is the sort of thing you expect to hear coming out of third world autocracies, while thinking "I'm pleased nothing like this could ever occur in the civilised world".

If you're not interested in cars and just want a comfortable, reliable box for getting from A to B, then just find a manufacturer with a good warranty deal and pick one you like the look of. I think Hyundai do a 5 year warranty, their cars are perfectly serviceable.

Finishing backwards is how you troll people in racing games.

I've always been a fan of Halo's story; I've played all of the games and I've read most of the canon books. I refuse to watch this after hearing about it because it sounds like they've ignored so much of the lore. It's a shame, there must be so many great lore accurate stories they could have told.

Be pleased you don't work in retail and have to endure it for a quarter of the year. How they can stretch out 1 day to last 4 months is beyond me.

The Orville is like a love letter to 90s/00s Star Trek with Seth MacFarlane's sense of humour sprinkled over the top. It's good, I enjoyed it and I'm also hoping for more of it, but I think saying it's better than Trek is an overstatement.

Has anyone made you aware that there's a Graviton Lance themed ship, sparrow, and ghost shell in the Eververse store this season?

Also, if you work in a larger store it takes time to set it all up. You have to sell through the summer stock, and refill the shelves with Christmas stock as they empty. It's not a 5 minute job.

I'm thinking of taking a break for the first time since D1 launched. I think I'm going to burn through Ash and Iron then just leave it until Renegades. The game just isn't fun at the minute.

They nerfed the power delta a few weeks ago. It's much less hateful in there now. It's by no means a classic raid but it's not terrible either.

I'd be interested in what Pete Parsons (just about to retire from Bungie) was earning. After the sale to Sony there were many layoffs, but Pete has a collection of rare classic cars to enjoy now...

Burnt clutch and super unleaded.

Also, this has to be 80s when everything went Turbo mad.

"Alright Dave, just had me head chopped off. Thought it was something I should make you aware of."
August 23, 2025 at 11:32 PM
I thought they were going to make the power grind easier? This feels like they're doing the exact opposite.

Car safety in general has come on massively since the war. Not just seatbelts, but air bags, crumple zones, stronger materials, automatic braking, etc. Must have saved millions of lives.

Even better on a Sunday morning when people rock up at 9am expecting you to be open, only to realise they have at least an hour to wait!
