Yes Brecht. I think maybe a ‘framing story’ or mise en abyme commentary on our world, outside the movie’s recursive worlds (yet also within, imbuing its logics and affects, just as the movie’s ‘real world’ exists at the behest of Barbieland)

It pleasantly surprised me (given my low expectations of my associations of GG with libfem). Read it as an immanent critique of libfem, while taking contempo-PopFem to its limit points. The aufheben is for us, living outside of its outside of Barbieland, to accomplish.
