Associate Gameplay Programmer at CA. Sometimes a playwright.
It’s my first week at CA and so far it’s been a dream come true (if a little scary, given how much stuff there is to know!)
Can’t wait to tell you about the things I’m working on!

Newcastle says no to fascism.

The far right brought a hundred or so with them, bussed from far and wide. This city turned out 1000s, from local communities, estates and streets. Geordies of all backgrounds coming together and outnumbering the purveyors of hate by some distance.

Newcastle united.

Halt and Catch Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You cannot silence me i will never shut up about that show
Take away all the GOAT candidates: The Wire, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Lost.

What’s the best show outside of that group?

the thing i love about linkedin is how people can post the most slap-dash ai slop, and nobody bats an eyelid because everybody is just glancing at things and nodding.

Made the mistake of reading comments in an r/gaming thread about ai replacing voice actors. Never again.

what's really depressing about the garron noone situation is realising just how far we've ceded ground to the right - where a pretty normal, presumably liberal guy can take as read that 'there is an immigration problem' and it naturally follows that 'crime rates are rising' because of it.

severance s2 is lacking so much clarity compared with the first one. Absolutely everything being treated as a fascinating mystery to tease us with is also getting exhausting

Anyone find it funny how when the UK releases the Cass review to ban trans care, we get everything ranging from New York Times push notifs to op-eds in every major US paper...

But when Germany, Switzerland, and Austria release pro-trans youth care guidelines, not a single article anywhere but mine?
1. Major news in transgender care.

Germany, Switzerland, and Austria have just released their trans youth care guidelines.

They strongly recommend trans youth care and slam the
Cass Review in England.

Europe is not "pulling back" on trans care.

New German, Swiss, And Austrian Guidelines Recommend Trans Youth Care, Slam Cass Review
The recommendations, released by the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany, come at a time when US politicians erroneously claim that Europe is "pulling back" on transgender care.

Truly shocking to see upcoming series "harry potter and the reactionary witch" is nowhere near as radioactive as it should be. Shame on John Lithgow and anyone else who signs on.

Going against the grain here, but in my opinion, civ 7 is an absolute masterpiece. I absolutely love almost every change, particularly how they’ve implemented age transitions.
Im still only in exploration age, but if im right and the late game slog problem that plagues 4x is gone?game of the year.

I get that the traitors needs to be accessible to a tv audience, but the lack of almost any game mechanics for the faithful consistently leads to mediocrity rising to the top. The current optimal
strategy is to have pudding for brains so you’re too dumb to be seen as a threat to either team.

I know this has been said a million different ways already, but it certainly is something that Time magazine consistently chooses someone completely anodyne or Literally Hitler, rather than someone like Gisèle Pelicot
