I actually enjoyed Shenmue 3, it was very cozy how it felt like no real-world time had passed between games.
But not fixing the combat for the Enhanced version is a big oof. "Just hit the buttons" should not be a fully functional tutorial in a martial arts self-improvement game.

Picked up No More Heroes for 5€ on Switch last week.

Finally have some time to work on my potential next board game. A cult/deckbuilder set at the edge of a black hole. I was gonna call it Critical Mass because it sounds punny, but then I looked it up and a) a game with that name already exists and b) Critical Mass does not mean what I thought it did.

Woke Nintendo should have cast Ad-Rock as Odd Rock in Bananza, and that character arc would have worked better because confidence is a male only trait. Pauline should be at home. She is 13, which is prime age for bree- prime age for brr- breed- *violently throws up as his body rejects the joke*

If I made a GTA-style game, there would be a literal one in a million chance that a pedestrian you're about to run over will turn towards you, scream "Right where I wanted you!" in Japanese, and then suplex your car, instantly killing you in the resulting explosion.

I love this. On the eShop page for Donkey Kong Bananza, it mentions that it was localized into Brazilian Portuguese. They're so proud of it, they included it in the English, Spanish, and German store descriptions, too. Not in French or Italian, though, that'd be completely out of place.
