On other hand I think you’ll see quite a few academy kids get some football here and there.

But I’m a firm believer that when it comes to United we are always at our best when we have home grown players in the squad.

I’m assuming our starting XI next season will be:

Yoro
DeLigt
Martinez or Mazaroui
Amad
Ugarte
Bruno
Dorgu
Cunha
Mbeumo
New ST

I know we just want best team possible but very sad for me that likes of Garnacho, Mainoo, McTominay etc won’t be around and playing big part next season.

Still a better chance than Delap getting them imo

I doubt that highly. Pele wouldn’t get 20 in this team

Not saying any of these managers are elite or getting us back to league or CL but would get more for sure.

This squad is a top GK & top ST away from a top 8 team playing 433 imo

I think there are 6-7 getable PL managers that would have got more out of these players.

I get he hasn’t had a window and his system needs his players but have to adapt. So far he’s shown no signs of being able to do that.

Losing tonight means quality of player he needs no unachievable too I fear

Blimey. That is positive. I think if we win it’s by a single goal.

Longer the day goes the more I worry not only we’ll lose but it will get embarrassing.

Well I’ll tell you what. If they are really committed to the long term with Amorim and accept pain for 1-2 more years what does it matter if we blow all money we have to spend on 2 maybe 3 top players.

Let’s say it’s Martinez, Wharton & Kane for example.

Then next summer do it again for a RWB & AM

Likes of Dorgu, Mainoo, Zirkzee off the bench.

In terms of defence I have no idea who is even fit.

If all fit then probably 3 of DeLigt, Maguire, Maz & Yoro start

Amad has to play but fact we’re struggling at RWB makes me tempted to play him there even though I’d prefer him further forward.

And then the question of whether to play Hojlund or not.

I think I would with Garnacho & Bruno behind and Amad and Shaw at wingback.

With Wharton we missed on Caicedo and Rice and cannot afford another.
