£26 billion tax rise announced today in Labour's budget

£90 billon, how much tax revenue is lost because of Brexit EVERY Year

The reason taxes are going up and spending is being cut is because we can't afford stuff because of Brexit!

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

This is exactly what the recent Trump-BBC 'scandal' was designed to achieve. The BBC is now self-censoring criticisms of Trump in the name of "impartiality"

Everyone is doing this ironically, but someone has to state it plainly. Chris Mason is exactly what is wrong with BBC politics coverage. Infantile coverage via soap opera and constant fawning over Reform and the archetypal Reform voter's supposed views.
Robbie Gibb describes the BBC's Political Editor Chris Mason as the "unsung hero of covering politics" and "absolutely first rate"

If a billionaire spent £1million every year, he wouldn’t run out of money for a thousand years.
If he spent £1million every week, he’d find it lasting him 19 years.

Time for the whole of Europe to tell Trump to fuck off. This “Peace Plan” threatens all European security, and directly betrays Ukraine.

Trump peace plan: We could all pay if Europe doesn't step up and guarantee Ukraine's security
World leaders praising Trump for his Gaza ceasefire plan only encouraged him to believe he can solve the world's most complex conflicts with minimal effort.

He was ambushed, humiliated and berated for not being grateful enough.

Prince Bone Saw bin 9/11 came to the White House, for the first time since he ordered the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

Wealth tax - I'm all in favour.
1) The UK does NOT need people whose main talent is for accruing massive wealth, abstracting it from the country's system to hoard it in the Cayman Islands. If they want to leave, then let's get rid of them. Growth can only come from it being spread around.

I really find it deeply depressing that a Labour government moves ever further rightward in its desire to out-Reform Reform, penalising the young, refugees, torture victims, disadvantaged and desperate people, the most vulnerable of society. I don’t think I could ever again trust or vote for them
