I was thinking of something today that made me a tad more hopeful. I remember the concept of the "uncanny valley" becoming more mainstream due to game graphics skyrocketing.
My hope is that this will make more people normalize the "glaring inconsistencies" and start to notice the UV quicker.

I started drawing a little Mario face during some line practice and like 10 minutes later I got Neil Degrasse Einstein and I kind of love him.
(the shoes and body stink and I meant to make his hair more goofy, but again this wasn't supposed to be "a thing", especially anything I would ever share).

I had planned on having her wear something more closely aligned with what Rimari draws: beautiful women in formal wear. But when I suggested it, Rim actually ASKED to do my character's armor. She said she loved it and I think she wanted the challenge!

Credits on RE4 Remake. Not sure if I'm going to get to finishing up Seperate Ways before I go on to either Silent Hill 2 or another RE (likely will be RE3R or RE2R - I already beat 2 PSX decades ago).

People have been talking about this "Great Lakes" country and how it would be a perfect utopia for liberals. a) that's very wrong, because despite it's east and west "coast" liberal states, it clearly has it's own deep south and also b) something this perfect would not be allowed to live.

The best part of the Xbox 360 launch wasn't the incredible games in that first 6 months, but the incredible memes that spawned soon after.

Meanwhile, many of us are dealing with AAA games that are fun, but struggle graphically because of issues with UE5 or the RE engine because even modern developers have no idea how to make them look AAA 100% of the time due to streaming issues.

Yes, it's impressive and dominates discussions and sells units, but a huge portion of Gen Z and younger are playing games that look worse than Black or Silent Hill 3 on PS2.
Meanwhile, my age are out here playing games that are GAMEPLAY throwbacks to their childhood.

There's a reason indie games, fan games, mods, and Roblox/Fortnite creator gamemodes are dominating kids' time these days. They don't give a shit about 8k 120fps...
