Thinking about the potential impact of Fridays game vs SJ for the Timbers and am feeling giddy.
IF the Timbers win, we are guaranteed to move up in the table, since MIN and SD play each-other. If they draw and we win, 2nd place is ours. So obviously root for a Timbers win and SD/MIN draw

HOWEVER... I do believe these players should be getting more recognition for how well they have played, and 1-2 should be in Austin for the All-Star game. This team was supposed to be a play-in contender; now we are on pace for the best regular season in club history. ALL WITH ONLY ONE DP! #RCTID

David Ayala: He is MILES better than Artur. It is laughable that David is getting fewer votes, especially with the media attention he has gained recently, both from local and national media outlets.
He has been one of the best DM in MLS this year; stats prove it. Get him to Austin.

Finn Surman: He is a better player than Lalas Abubakar on a better team. Lalas has also only played 470 min compared to Finn's 1200.

MLS just released their updated top vote-getters for the ASG, and there are some pretty noticeable players in this list that I think Finn Surman, David Ayala, David Da Costa, and Antony are more deserving of getting an All-Star shout for various reasons. Here is my 100% unbiased thread #RCTID
