i feel like the fact that doctors never wore (k)n95s and stopped even wearing surgical masks has really laid bare that they don't really know very much. they don't have particular critical thinking skills. they just went to a hazing heavy trade school
People with disabilities and chronic illness have always known doctors can’t be trusted so this is unsurprising to us, but it’s still super fucked up.
It’s super fucked up but it’s sadly true that most GPs are wildly misinformed, or simply ignorant and uninformed, about Covid and long covid, have no idea how to treat it, give awful advice, and deny long covid even exists. I fucking hate it but fact check everything your doctor tells you.
