Luckily, I seem to have no scrapes or anything, aside from a teeny tiny cut at the base of my ring finger, which could have been a paper cut.

This is going to a fun end to a week off. The pain will kick in tomorrow, I'm sure.

Oh, well. My MC has back issues inspired by my own, so at least...

Sticking through the partially-open door while the rest of my 6'4" frame lay on the patio and partially in the bushes. Took a few minutes to get back to my feet. Having back issues & severe arthritis damage in both knees and both feet, does not make it easy to get back up from the ground...

I just discovered Clues by Sam yesterday. I’m enjoying it, but I wish we could go back and do previous puzzles.

I had trouble finding a cover artist for my latest book who didn't use AI art. Finally found an artist here on BlueSky, and she delivered an amazing cover and some character designs for me. Hoping to keep her for all 5 books in the series.

I need to watch that next. We just finished "Murderbot", which was one of the funniest things I've watched in a while. My wife thinks Skarsgard's acting was what made it so good; she thinks if it had been anyone else, it would have come across as cheesy.

Looking forward to "Plur1bus".

I bought Scrivener 7 years ago and haven't looked back. Written and published 4 novels with it so far. I only use a small fraction of its abilities, mainly because I'm a pantser and have no need for anything resembling plotting tools, but the drag and drop is definitely my top tool.

.so I named the book after her, and will follow that pattern in the rest of the series, letting a different side character drive the plot for each book and naming it after them.

I get two or three emails every single day now, and when I checked my website analytics, there are dozens and dozens of visits from Nigeria. The emails are all basically the same polished layout.
