I found out that John Stamos worked with the Beach Boys from Full House. They had to have DJ win a contest in order to explain in canon how Uncle Jesse would’ve met them but then he ends up writing a song with them which is a hit in Japan

Doesn’t help you fact-check Avi but a month ago I met some dude who is carrying the ticket stub around in his phone

I saw Kyoto is raising the hospitality accommodation tax to up to 10,000 yen a night which is like $100 CAD. It’s still Kyoto and people might still pay it

Basically he was driving an hour out of his way just to grab a coffee or something in order to get his hands on these cards. From one location in Kenora, the next-nearest Ontario McDonald’s would’ve been idk how far away. Probably Fort Frances.

It’s pretty cool that the Jays are apparently still on the air in Weyburn as long as you’re listening on the physical airwaves. The last holdover of the days when that was a thing in small town MB/Sask www.mlb.com/bluejays/sch...

I went down the rabbit hole. In January, Rogers was forced to air this message 3 times as their punishment for showing violent MMA highlights at 9:30 am without a warning. There’s already a precedent that MMA and pro wrestling have been singled out as more violent than any other sports.

Putting aside that you’re obviously trolling, it’s hilarious if anyone thinks Rogers Communications, one of the two companies that controls most English broadcasting in Canada could realistically face any major consequence for this

That Sportsnet host seemed a little upset that we might have 4 game 3s tomorrow and in that case Yankees-Red Sox wouldn’t be in prime time again

I’m into the idea of having a Ken Jennings and James Holzhauer archive but they both start halfway through for some reason

These noodles came from an inn which is also a guy’s house in a hamlet that has about 6 buildings. I didn’t stay there and he was surprised I wanted food from him, he said « noodles only » and there’s no menu. But this is the closest thing I ate to something somebody would cook themselves at home.

This is BlueSky I assumed that saying anything close to reactionary already wasn’t allowed. Lol

Oh sorry I meant the other way. That if shootings went up there could be even more restrictions.
August 30, 2025 at 12:54 AM
Yeah we have concealed carry in Canada for like, armoured truck drivers and anybody else whose job is that dangerous. And we have no open carry unless you’re out in the wilderness hunting. I’m largely fine with that. If shootings went up I could change my mind.

If you would prefer that civilian gun ownership be entirely pretty much banned that’s also a valid view. But I guess I fall under white guy who lives near semi-rural area who knows people who have guns

Honestly I just feel bad for Americans that the 2nd amendment is interpreted in the way it is. Countries that don’t have 2nd amendments can make it harder to have a gun to reduce the risk of domestic violence and suicide without entirely banning them

Tbh I think the normalization of carrying in public is worse than the ownership itself. In an open carry state how do you know the intentions of some guy walking down the street with a rifle. I’d feel better if he could only have it out when he was hunting and not walking down the street with it
