I was just reading about its third identity, as "Greater Manchester - The Life and Soul of Britain" That must have been a very long nameplate!

Looks like it's wearing the Peter Pan nameplate, rather than Les Ross.

Kitty was a wonderful creation, but I will remember more the darker shades of her Alan Bennett pieces - A Woman of No Importance, A Lady of Letters and Miss Fozzard Finds Her Feet.
