It is with great joy that I realize I have become noisier on Bluesky.

Thanks, everyone.
She will forever be missed.
This is who she was.
Passionate in her beliefs. Fiercely loyal to her friends. Never afraid to let you know exactly where she stood. The best.

Fun Fact: I remember arguing with her over which of us hated Piggy the most. I was sure I did. She disagreed. It remains unresolved...
Carrie Fisher was the blueprint.

Magnificent news. Congratulations to the candidate, to the board and to the students there.
For the Netroots community, for everyone who knew @arjunjaikumar.bsky.social when he was a guy posting on DailyKos and SSP as "brownsox" who loved writing about elections, today is a joyous day as he's been elected to the Cambridge School Board with the strong backing of the local teachers' union.

If only their people showed minimal intellectual integrity and judgment.
Just so I have this straight: Vance thinks racist men in their 20s and 30s are “just kids,” but 12-year-old girls are grown enough for forced pregnancy?

What groveling fools.
Think you buried your lede halfway down your story?

"The 31-year-old Kirk never served in the military."

The Air Force Academy alumni group's board is considering honorary membership for Charlie Kirk.

Excellent questions. Why are we not hearing any of them from the media?
If we are taking in “trillion” of dollars in tariffs:

1. Why haven’t we paid down a cent of the debt?

2. Why can’t we afford to not fuck millions of people over with expiring insurance subsidies?

3. Why is none of it being used to help the abysmal job market?

WE fight for their (media people). Why does the media not fight for their own and for their society???
Another violent attack by an ICE officer on a civilian at 26 Federal Plaza—this time on a journalist, who had to be carried out on stretcher.

Another attack on the First Amendment, our neighbors, and our democracy.

May this suit succeed. QUICKLY.
BREAKING: Oregon & Portland just sued President Trump to block his order sending federal troops into the city.

The plaintiffs call the deployment “patently unlawful” and say it violates the U.S. Constitution and the Posse Comitatus Act.

I would create one, but you would need a microscope to see it. And it would contain other things they wouldn't want to see even in a microscope.
Republican lawmakers in Oklahoma introduced legislation this week that would require every public university in the state to construct “a Charlie Kirk Memorial Plaza”, with a statue of the assassinated Republican activist and a sign calling him a “modern civil rights leader”, or pay monthly fines.
Oklahoma Republicans propose all state colleges must have Charlie Kirk statue
Schools would be required to build memorial plaza and describe slain activist as civil rights leader or face fines

Agreed. I hope all of our #MomsDemandAction folks see this.
Absolutely batshit that we have children pledge allegiance to anything, let alone a flag of a country that doesn’t protect them.

Second worst in infant mortality, top ten for teen pregnancy, no pre-Kindergarten education, no money for hungry kids ... it's a pretty clear message, indeed.

We are way too short-sighted, and probably way too pure. Politics isn't an arena for the poor or the unimaginative, and it absolutely isn't an arena for the gutless.
Whenever someone suggests something "radical" Democrats could do, the reply is always: “But they’re the minority!” Republicans never let that stop them. They push the debate, however extreme. They know how to till the narrative for when they're back in power. Democrats never learned the long game.

The legacy of this Court is going to be hideous. Just as they have deserved. The Zero Integrity Court, zero loyalty, zero responsibility. If the founders had envisioned this, it's hard to imagine such a court ever coming into being.
Instead of trying to rein in Trump’s authoritarian urges, the justices have become his accomplices.

Completely true. They hate that.
You can’t assert the former without the latter also being true.

We don't yet know our candidate, of course, but I think he would make a great president.

Inconvenient facts.
Sean Duffy: "Pete Buttigieg was running for president as opposed to doing his job and making sure that we got our air traffic control system modernized."

Why is there no progressive discussion of the fact that there are kidnapping laws on the books and that if you take people without due process you face charges when a justice department with a sense of responsibility and justice is restored?

He has no spine and less imagination. I would support AOC in this endeavor.
AOC could and should take this seat.

It's strange to see someone that deluded who isn't already a member of the administration.
Tucker Carlson claims the U.S. government is being controlled by “supernatural beings and forces” operating behind the scenes.
