But the very same document lists America’s “network of alliances” & “unmatched softpower” as assets, and speaks about “collective defence”.

Das sind die Punkte, die ich in dieser Wehrpflichtdebatte so total schräg finde. "Junge Leute müssen für Oma an die Front" - Was ein Unsinn. Als ob nur die 20 jährigen an der Front wären. In Deutschland zählt man bis 65 zur Reserve und Opa war auch schon beim Bund.
du musst für Oma ein Jahr zu Hause bleiben, du musst für Oma and die Front und du musst für Oma die Rente zahlen ist halt so als Generationengerechtigkeit schwer zu verkaufen, wenn Oma scheiße ist und dank Oma alle Brücken im Land, jede Bahnverbindung, das Rentensystem und das Klima zusammenbrechen
