I have learned today that there was maybe a train ( at least a through service) from Kharkiv to Vladivostok via Kyiv, Moscow, and the Trans Siberian Railway. I know this from one picture on Wikimedia Commons I saw that could possibly be Ai and some web results.

He earnestly thinks socialism is when the government does stuff.
He then advocates selling off the interstate to private hands (which would effectively turn them into toll roads). Such a thing if the Republicans ever did it would cost them everything. At best, it'd cause massive supply chain issues and potentially inflation, at worst food shortages and recession.

Unless you think the Necessary and Proper clause is Unconstitutional I doubt the framers wouldn't have allowed the government to build a system of roads. Even through the sham measure of History and Traditions, Congress and (even) Jefferson funded the construction of the National Road in 1811!

The absolute state of libertarianism. I was reading this opinion from the Mises Institute and this guy is claiming the constitution wouldn't allow the federal government to build the interstate highways.
