More interested in science and tech than politics, but half the country is in a cult. Support UBI and universal health care, and we could get rid of lots of other programs as a result.
And you were there to hear all this? No? GFY

We're literally having hearings right now because Senators -- including Republican ones -- believe that some may have done so. So apparently some may need reminding.

GFY. Reminding people that they are not to obey illegal orders is none of the above.

So instead of the "big, fat, rich insurance companies," the expectation is we will buy insurance, from... who?

Maybe he's the guy who's been "eating the cats, eating the dogs"...

His statements to Congress are public, right? Have they given any indication of what they believe Comey said was false?

Remind me what political office Hunter Biden has ever held, or even been a candidate for.

You're very generous by calling Lutnick stupid. He's not, he's a greedy liar. He's working for the plan to replace income taxes (which affect the rich more) with tariffs (which hit the poor more.) He doesn't care about a tariff on bananas, he wants lower income taxes on his billions.

I still wonder if the woman who exchanged sexually explicit texts with his 2020 opponent, Cal Cunningham, was a GOP setup. Still Cunningham's fault for engaging in such behavior especially during an election, but sleazy if it was a setup.

Could be damage control in response to Trump presenting Musk as the head of DOGE during his speech, in direct contradiction to what his lawyers have told the courts.

The easy tell of age is chrome trim rather than black. The first Teslas with black trim were the Model S and X in 2020.

Countries don't have friends, only interests.

China will take whatever actions strengthen it relative to other countries.

My concern as an environmentalist is that if you completely restrict any use of 60% of the earth, you're putting more pressure on the remainder. A low-impact approach to picking up nodules in a small area would be preferable to having kids in artisanal cobalt mines. No possible middle ground?
