I'm seeing posts about a world bike race where the hosts are said to be constructing hills for it. Big hills. Strewth. No idea if true but in this world of greenwashing it wouldn't surprise me. I think we need more TV coverage of people cycling to work on real bikes on real land

Chris McCausland. Seeing into the future. Fascinating and inspiring programme. Tech for accessibility - this is very good. One can imagine tech dictators manipulating augmentation though - pricing or selecting it in to create a new division of the augmented and the disaugmented.

Drove to work today - take new clothes in, avoid cycling on ice, measure car commute to compare to bike commute. Faffed about scraping ice off car and demisting screen. Outcome = 6.5 mile 30 minute drive and 20 mins faffing. Bike is 7-9 miles, 45-60 mins and 20 min shower etc
