Tenderloin SF is especially known for Southeast Asian food, Vietnamese, and Thai are probably the most prominent overall, along with a very strong presence of other Asian (Burmese, Cambodian, Indian) and classic American diner-style spots. Popularity skews heavily toward affordable Asian eateries.

Chump told Japan to drop the Taiwan issue to secure a China trade deal, which just taxes Americans. He used illegal tariffs instead of legal regulations (like the Biosecurity Act) to seem "tough" on China. He's taxing Americans more & weakening an ally for a bad deal.

If President Trump and Congressional Republicans don't join Democrats to extend the ACA enhanced premium tax credits before the end of the year, tens of millions of Americans won't be able to afford health insurance - and that has ramifications for the entire health care system.

"Mitchell, a longtime demography expert who crafted the California map himself, confirmed to SFGATE that Prop. 50 will remain unchanged."

It's clear that Chump is only sending the Feds into cities that he lost by a large margin. The most recent example is Charlotte, N.C., where Harris had won with 61.9% of the vote.

Sable Offshore, which bought the Santa Ynez Unit oil rigs, faces a denial of onshore permits from Santa Barbara County. The firm plans to use oil tankers to bypass state pipeline regulations and is looking to the Chump administration, including Commerce Secretary Lutnick, for political support.

Reversing these tariffs is priority one. It's how we lower input costs, inflation, and prices.

But we also need to bring back the green jobs from the IRA. Gutting them was hella dumb, especially with China so far ahead on energy. And we must stop gutting university science research.

The official reason for using Section 232 tariffs (national security) is weak, especially when applying them to our allies. The only way these policies would make sense is if the real, unstated goal is to move the U.S. towards 'autarky' (complete economic isolation) under Trump.

Chump's lawyers told SCOTUS tariffs aren't taxes. They're "regulatory," and the revenue is "only incidental."
But this morning, Chump promised to spend that "incidental" revenue on a $2,000 rebate for most Americans. I'd honestly be shocked if we don't get a 9-0 decision against Chump's Tariffs.
November 9, 2025 at 11:08 PM
The 6-3 SCOTUS conservative majority generally leans free-market, often skeptical of broad agency regs (e.g., EPA, SEC). This view also favors Congress's constitutional power to set commerce policy (like tariffs) over the White House.
November 9, 2025 at 10:41 PM
A tariff is a tax, a power the Constitution gives Congress (Art I, Sec 8), not the President. Using the IEEPA ("national emergency") to set them is an overreach. This isn't a foreign policy tool; it's a tax on U.S. consumers & businesses that hurts manufacturers, exporters, and causes inflation.

Despite all of the rest of their terrible decisions, I believe SCOTUS rules against Chump's tariffs. The WSJ Editorial Board has been arguing against them from the beginning. The establishment hates them, and so do most of the voters.

Chump only beat Kamala by 1.5 points. Biden's age and Kamala's short campaign were factors in the loss. But in reality, the country hasn't changed much. Chump emboldened voters to take back control because our highest court does not have our back.

California – this Election Day, vote yes on Prop 50.

California’s Prop 50 says that if Republicans are going to abuse the system to try and hang onto power, we’re going to counteract that abuse and create a level playing field in the midterm elections.

Make a plan to vote yes on Prop 50.

Everyone who lives here knows that Daniel Lurie is doing a great job. Crime is way down, and businesses are booming. The mere fact that Chump was even thinking about it is cringe. Now it's time to get out of the other cities he's sent the feds to.
