I’ve done a lot of things in my life, but I love slam poetry; esp Rachel Wiley. I just feel like slam poets are so in touch with their emotions, their passion, their rage, that it just makes them freaking glow. I’ve studied with Rachel and I’ve never felt more understood in my life. #creatives

When my friend Shirley died, her friends came together and adopted her babies. As a result I got Daisy Mae & Sweet Tea. For months she hid in my closet and was too traumatized to come out. Now she sits on my chest and we talk about how she’s safe in my home even if the world burns around her

It’s the meow meow squad of Kevin and Dragon. Originally Kevin’s name was Puss n Boots but I named him after the little white dog in The Proposal, not after Kevin McCallister from Home Alone although I do find myself shouting KEVIIIIINNNNNN!!! Kevin is the dark ginger and Dragon is the light one

I’ve thought about these pics over the years. These are high school classmates of mine around 1984/85 when I was a junior or senior. I’d known them my whole life and I never thought anything about this at the time but now it reeks of your body, my choice to me. I wish I felt body autonomy back then
