You have been tasked with approving incoming letters from the Wildwood region, as you have been injured in previous exchanges with orcs. Late one night beyond your typical shift hours, a letter delivered by the Thirteenth Wildwood Espial was marked as urgent.

A letter on a wooden desk. Beside it a candle and wick trimmer. The letter is adorned with a hastily made rabbit seal. "To be deliuered vnto Younger Futharke Kaun. The Thirtenth Wyldewoode Eſpiall would make report of a rumour ſpred amongſt the village Rabbit-peoples, which we haue found to be true. The ſayd Rabbites affirme there is ſome entitie within theſe woods, which hath impaled and ſuſpended their owne in the treeline. They brought vs vnto the place where this hath been done, and we did obſerue two Rabbites impaled vpon ſlender trees that had been ſhauen to a point, and one Rabbit intangled within the boughes of a tree ouerhead. This is a deede manifeſtly deliberate, and could not haue been wrought by any beaſt. For it is not with the maner of the Wolues nor euen yet of the Orques; wherefore we are led to thinke it the worke of ſome vnknowen & wiſefull hoſtile force. None of the villagers can deſcribe who or what hath wrought this vpon their kin. At this preſent time we requeſt an inquirie touching the perill in this region, whereunto the thirtenth Wyldewood Eſpiall is aſſigned, and—" The sentence is cut off. The following writing is scattered and drawn with haste. "Forget the former charge of deliuerie and ſend this immediatly vnto Elder Futharkes Kaunan and Algiz. A belai was impaled this morning. We do now requeſt immediate militarie action"
