Needed a warm meal today and decided to use some of the fresh eggs I traded starter for on Monday. Pulled out the discard to make biscuits and made a simple country gravy to go with. Delicious!

My pup in the snow, North Florida. He wasn't amused. He asked to be picked up after a couple of minutes inspecting things. 😬🥶 Didn't know snow was coming so I had him groomed last week. #dogsky

I met this lady around Christmas and traded my sourdough starter for her jams, which I'm now using in my thumbprint cookies. Today another lady offered to trade fresh eggs for starter and I couldn't say yes fast enough! I love spreading the joy of sourdough and bartering locally. 🥰

I didn't wash the pot I candied almonds in last night well enough so my chicken noodle soup had a hint of cinnamon to it last night. I don't recommend.
