Saguaro set test fit! I need to add an inch of length to the top and that’s it 😌
If you remember I was working on my pants sloper a few weeks ago to make the bottoms for this set. What I didn’t realize is I only bought enough fabric for the top, but I’ll sew the pants next. #sewing #sewingpattern

Finally finished my pants sloper and here are all the alterations I did to get there.
Top sample: I had to add more fabric to make a full seat adjustment
Middle sample: made my waist darts bigger to make the waist smaller. Also took in fabric under my bottom bc it was a bit saggy after the FSA

I forgot how much corn there is in Wisconsin. My mom just claimed the farm stand was "almost out" of corn bc there were only a few dozen ears left.
She also bought a dozen ears for a cookout with 6 people 🤣

underwear! that I made! I used my block for these, which I would recommend making for yourself if you plan on sewing lots of underwear.

Zucchini --> zucchini bread
Chard, carrots, garlic --> bean soup
Kale, cucumber, kohlrabi leaves --> juice
All from my CSA veggies, so I'm getting good mileage!

Finally decided to use my grandma's sewing machine 😍 she gave it to me a few years ago and my MIL gave it a tune up a few months ago. I cannot believe how quiet it is while sewing!

This is why I can't get any sewing done 😭 my one chicken decided she wanted to sleep on the coop roof, which meant getting out the ladder to bring her down.
