Spurs. Wow. #Brentfordfc position on the graph suggests a relatively balanced but moderately high-intensity approach. We are positioned slightly above avg in terms of sprinting in possession and around the league avg in sprinting out of possession yet have struggled with similar load type injuries.

The most striking metric here #Brentfordfc is the Field Tilt. Brentford’s 76.1% highlights their dominance in the attacking third. This territorial advantage, combined with a higher xG and xThreat points to Bees being the more aggressive and forward-pressing team.
Brentford 0 : 2 Spurs

▪ xG: 1.49 - 0.87
▪ xThreat: 1.98 - 0.97
▪ Possession: 54.3% - 45.7%
▪ Field Tilt: 76.1% - 23.9%
▪ Def Action Height: 52.0 - 40.7

Having recently boasted the best home record, tough fixtures have taken their toll: winless in 4 at the Gtech. Brentford’s close loss to Liverpool highlights a broader growing trend across the league: visitors turning tight games into wins. #BrentfordFC
Home wins in the Premier League are rarer this season than ever before... aside from the COVID-affected 2020-21 season, when fans weren't allowed in stadiums.

Why are we seeing few home wins in 2024-25?
