This bit piqued my interest, because this could describe either a date rudely ghosting her friend, OR her friend being unreasonably needy. If you’re texting a 30- or 40-something professional at their job, it’s not at all weird for them to take a few hours to see it and text you back sometimes!

for the sake of my blood pressure I've got to stop reading this article. ideas like "Old Testament Jesus" are not just oxymoronic bullshit, they're so contrary to the fundamental concept of Christianity that "heresy" doesn't even describe it, it's just flat out apostasy

the word "catholic" means "universal". there's nothing catholic about vilifying half of your congregation and being glad when they leave as a result of your pursuit of the worst kind of "purity"

ESPN turning the keys to the kingdom over to Joe-Rogan-but-Sports is dangerous and shortsighted in itself... but execs claiming that it makes good business sense because of the eyeballs he brings to *non-ESPN outlets* is some real "no the gig doesn't pay, but think of the EXPOSURE you'll get" lunacy
