Also I made the arm cannon way blockier because it always looked super chunky to me in game :3

I based the colors off of how Mario's sprite looks in Super Mario Land 2 when played on a Game Boy Color or Advance, because that was my first Mario game!

I did this because I was bored and suddenly got the inspiration to draw again, and thought it would be cool if Mario was remixed in the same way DC is remixing their characters in the new Absolute comic line.
