Yoongi supposes Jimin does have a point. As much as he doesn't want to see Namjoon and especially talk to him about what they did, he's pretty sure that at some point they're going to have to address their drunken fuck-up. (You weren't that drunk, a small voice says. Yoongi refuses to indulge that train of thought.)

Pick any passage of 500 words or less from any fanfic I've written, and stick that selection in my ask. I will then give you the equivalent of a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, lots of awful puns, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

Up ahead, his dad takes off his suit jacket and folds it over his arm, chasing after a giggling Hae Won, and, from what Namjoon can see, pretending to be some kind of beast or monster. There's still a spring in his step, but only from afar like this, from behind, does Namjoon truly see it for the first time. Today, on his hwangap, his sixty years show in small ways: the slightest hunch to his shoulders, the light streaks of gray in his hair, glimmering in the sunshine. He looks somehow smaller. No longer the larger than life figure that used to tower over Namjoon's entire existence, provide safety and set impossible standards all at the same time. The person that Namjoon sees before him now is someone who will grow more and more fragile instead of stronger, someone who will need protection instead of granting it.
