I know a webcomic artist who tried to please a more conservative art crowd and ended up giving up after years because they just were never happy even as the artist bent over backwards to be as conscious of their expectations as possible. Didn't seem worth it in retrospect.

I mean art's subjective anyway, but at the end of the day if you're stuck worrying about the randoms on the internet you'll never get to express yourself the way you want.

Can always make a separate or secret account or whatever, but I'd say just lean into it and find your fellow kinksters.
