I tell him I can't possibly afford that and try to explain my circumstances hoping we can come to an alternative solution. He tells me, point blank that maybe I should think about going to "a place called McDonalds and checking out their dollar menu." I ask him what would possess him to say that.

So I call the towing company the garage uses and I am immediately met with a level of hostility I typically only see in the blood feuds so commonplace in old Westerns. The guy I'm talking to John, quotes me an absurd price to have it moved (over the state's transportation dept. set limit).

I didn't until now. After several failed attempts to get my car towed I gave up and decided to pay for a mobile mechanic to come out and fix the car, only for my parking garage to call me to tell me I have to get it moved today because they're starting construction on that floor.

To that end I have to park in a city owned parking garage because my apartment building doesn't have parking and did you know if your car breaks down in a parking garage it's awful and every single person who could possibly help you with that will treat you like you personally shit on their newborn?
