I'm not weird enough / creative enough / not working on projects enough / not funny enough can get at me at times too. Doesn't help that someone told me essentially "Yeah sorry, I prefer to hang out with creative types" at one point.

Index still solid if you find it used or replace the face. Lots of used vives out there. Mixed VR w/ Quest 2/3 is affordable and wireless is cool. I got mixed VR with the PS VR2 headset, a direct upgrade to index. Better FOV, Higher Res, OLED, Eyetrack W/ custom driver & 1/2 the weight. Mixed tho.

Young and inexperienced enthusiasm is something that will and always should be coming fresh into a communities space, this is just one of those things that needs to be continually to be taught as general etiquette to young on how to act towards strangers, along with pickup-hugs and other things.

Came from an LG (Love them, RIP their phone division) & I will say careful getting into the Samsung ecosystem. Their built in apps are biting at the bit to sync all your info into their services. Actually buyers remorsed my first Samsung and ended up getting a pixel. Happier, already had g-accounts.

Understand it may not be the hardware you have, but I've heard good things about the repair-ability of index controllers. One part in particular is tricky but the rest is decent.
