I lived in France for a couple years before moving here, it seems like belgium follows France in most things, just later and smoother.

Right, socialist by American standards but It's a hard government to explain, half the time they don't have one and with the monoarchy still getting paid for nothing lol but someone it works. Aside from the annual train strikes lol

Unfortunately it feels like every country is battling thier own version of Maga at the moment, even belgium.

I live in antwerp and it's easily one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world. Wallonia is another story, but I hardly leave Flanders.

They're about the same, rising but still way cheaper than the US rn and most jobs are required to give cost of living raises when groceries go up.

Belgium I wouldn’t say "normal" but the best I've lived in so far. high taxes and still has a diabolical monarchy with no power, but very safe and socialist so free medical everything, students get paid to go to free school, very lgbt safe everyone in Flanders speaks English and life is affordable.
