A quick search on Bluesky has revealed that no-one has yet mentioned whorl snails. So, to rectify that, here is a narrow-mouthed whorl snail, Vertigo angustior, from fixed sand dune habitat in Kerry. Growing to less that 2mm tall, you can imagine they're fun to find!
