In case you're wondering what "fakey homesteader" means: my SO and I have 5 acres and a handful of ducks, but we also have jobs in STEM, vaccinate our family, and don't actually have time to garden *for real*. We also had a turkey for awhile, but Trevor was mean to the kiddos. #homestead #butscience

I saw a reel that basically said, "do you want to stimulate 47's economy or can it wait 4 years?" and you know what? That line of thinking has already saved me from like 3 purchases that I really didn't need. 👍👍

I'm not one for making new year's resolutions nor picking a word for the year. And clearly I'm a bit behind on all that. But I do have some things I've been neglecting (primarily my health and wellness) and I'm aiming to improve in general. Little steps. So I guess that's my word for 2025. Improve.
