Here's hoping you're right. The unfortunate reality we need to contend with though, is that even when this administration is gone, there is still something deeply wrong with our American culture and society to have spawned and encouraged this.

Obviously civil disobedience is required in this moment. You know what else is? Some damn leadership. Inspiring dissidence when so many have been weak in their calls for it. Holding the floor is exactly what you want to see from an elected representative. We need PEOPLE to get up to be successful.

Just remember that it's not a majority that voted for this. Those aren't the numbers. But you're right, the huge impactful number that did is symptomatic.
