A common metaphor to describe cellular signaling pathways is an electronic circuit board, which sums up positive and negative input signals and transmits them to the output, which determines entry into mitosis. This is based on a realistic schematic that would be functional when built!

Wow, really? What a small world! I would have loved to say hello, but I was also very tired and jetlagged. It's my first time in Cambridge and I absolutely love it!

My first time presenting a poster on #SciArt was at VIZBI 2019. I was thrilled to meet an amazing community of creative scientists working on data visualization, science illustrators, and people who transitioned between research and science art. This experience that has led me to where I am today!
