I have no idea what I'm doing.
Working on greeblies and structural reinforcements (kit is super fragile). Everything is still in the awful mess phase. Control table for CO HQ? Jump jet envy? Maybe the fuck-off-est Recoilless Rifle on a four wheeler? These guys did it, so why not?

With Visors fixed, the Bullgrog batch is almost finished. They pass the 3' test. But to my tired eyes they read as slightly dark and muddy next to the cavalry. Camera doesn't seem to agree though. I suppose it might just be the light.

The gang is all here. Well... most of them anyway. Forty infantry to go, and a couple of bikes, and maybe a gunship... Then there's just the Independent Laboratory Division, Thanatorium Experimentalis. A measly 50 models or so... should be done in a hot minute.

Low quality photo of a La Rataplastia. A bunch of rat warriors painted a mix of garish fuchsia and earthen tones. Pistoludos up front by the sandbags, Taladrazos to the left, Subterrorato to the right, Ratatillos behind. There's a sneaky Carabicho in there as well. You could write a whole blogpost here. And noone would read it. To be fair, that's only slightly fewer readers than a regular blog post these days. If you got this far. Drop a reply or something. Mbogo ATAQ Autotactica These are the heavy weapons from Raging Heroes Toughest Girls in the Galaxy heavy weapons teams. They come with crew but I figured they make plausible automatons. They are delicate, and came with some pretty bad mold-slippage. It took a bit of effort to put them together, and there are some obvious flaws remaining if you look closely. The paint job is messy AF and I will go back to tidy it up at some time. Green armor plating, greasy black core, brown feet, and orange trim. The white dots on the sides are reserved for future unit markings.

Calling the FAT-Rod table ready. And that completes the 2nd Platoon.

An Arcana Bullwing Cavalry Section granting a bit of mobility and fire support to the infantry and irregulars of Lithium Company. The platoon theme is experimental and appropriated vehicles and automatons.
"Gaur Troop Transport" (FAT-Rod kitbash), painted very green, with metallic yellow windows and brown wheel arches. Eventually I'll go back and do unit markings, some detailing, and weathering. But this is good for now. "Kudu Armored Car" (1/48 Humber with an upsized cannon and coaxial beam weapon) Painted two-tone: very green and muddy brown. Watusi Armored Walker (Coyote Light Mech by Warlord Games, with a heavy lascannon of unknown (oldhammer) origin on the shoulder). Painted matte green, with minimal details like a yellow visor, pink engine glow. Tamaraw Mobile HQ (Armadillo by Grenadier) painted in a messy green, with brown, yellow, and khaki detailing. I hesitated for a long time before painting this. Worried about messing it up. But in the end decided to just go for it and experiment. Is it perfect? Hardly, but I will be happy to put it on the table. I find the model a little goofy, but equally charming. It makes a plausible command vehicle. And the retro sci-fi look rounds out the eclectic collection of anachronistic kitbashes in the platoon.
