I knew trying to manage a change process remotely and with very little time per week wasn’t a good idea. Unless you are in peoples faces it never becomes a priority.

I ordered a pair of swimming goggles that are custom made to your eyes/face. They arrived this evening. They feel very different and comfortable. I’ll be at the pool at 09:00 tomorrow to try them out.

OH & I have always been supportive of each other but also pretty independent. For the first time I’ve told him when he goes for his pre-knee op consultation I need to be there. I have to know what to expect & what I’ll need to do. I’m not convinced he’ll be good at telling me otherwise.

One benefit of Black Friday - or Black Week as I heard it called (though that made me uncomfortable for a number of reasons) is that with the heavy digital marketing I can unsubscribe from so many lists in just a few days.

I’ve just drafted 1 of 2 consensus reports for the contract I’m working on (the one with the pass-agg colleague who quality check things and were extra picky with me). There were 2 other reports I needed to consolidate into one. One of them had followed pretty much none of the guidelines 🤬
