I just resorted to buying a pack of 8 sticks on Ebay from someone in NY state. I expect they are importing them from CA and reselling.
It will be a sad day if/when I have to switch.

Tech showed up about in about 20 minutes after company determined he was available for a callout. 45 minutes later he had the door sorted out and he charged me for the emergency visit and a "garage door tuneup" which saved me about 100 bucks!
