She/her, co-op deli cook, sweet on my man, shy, book-loving homebody. Interconnectedness/interdependence, and the inherent worth and dignity of everyone are key

I think it's their ideology and their greed that's to blame. They like budget shortfalls because they like cutting spending on safety net programs, education, etc. But I do agree that they are both ignorant and malicious.

3/3) Let me be unequivocal about this: while she may occasionally be making more sense recently, Greene is no friend to the Palestinian cause specifically or progressive issues more generally."

2/3) "Rather, it’s more likely that Greene, a Christian nationalist who has a history of promoting Islamophobic and antisemitic conspiracy theories, is motivated by antisemitic impulses here.

1/3) From the article: "To be clear, I don’t think Greene’s comments about Gaza have anything to do with empathy for Palestinians. Unfortunately, I also don’t think her comments were prompted by an analysis of the growing consensus from respected experts that a genocide is under way.

(2/2) Early Irish Catholicism as practiced was quite Pagan and insular to the Irish Sea area. That's why Henry II had the blessing to invade Ireland from (the Englishman) Pope Adrian IV "to check the torrent of wickedness [...], to sow the seeds of virtue" and to start forced tithing to Rome.

Thank you for the explainer! I was so confused about what was happening. Was hoping for clues in the comments and your comment was an instant jackpot

My comment is tangential, but I just wanted to say that I'd always heard slow readers in academia retain way more information than their average-speed and fast reader peers do. I've never looked into this myself, but it always sounded intuitively correct.

I hear you, but at least Taco John's and Amigo's are marginally better options than Taco Bell, plus we have plenty of more traditional, authentic places like El Chaparro. And most importantly, we're the only place that has Pepe's, which is the best Mexican restaurant. The man is a true artist! 🥑💚

Haven't been outside after dark yet this summer, but one got into my bedroom last night somehow. Saw it right as I was falling asleep and thought I was hallucinating for awhile lol. I'd never seen one get inside before.

"For a sense of ChatGPT’s limitations, you need to understand how it works. ChatGPT and other LLMs do not 'think' and 'understand' like humans. ChatGPT does, however, generate words based on what the next most likely word should be, looking at the input, and everything generated so far." -that link
