Hey #LNK does anyone know where to buy dried beans gigantes like this? I love these kind that comes imported from Italy in vinaigrette, but I only get them in write-off after the sell-by date because they're (understandably) kind of spendy. #beansky

Y'all have been using "lucent" and I never even noticed until today? I had to look it up? ("Glowing with light, luminous.")

Shout out to all the other loud-noise-averse, vegan recovering alcoholics out there! Hope you have good noise canceling headphones and can get some good "me time" in today. Third time was a charm figuring out the magic ring-- I slipknotted the end of the tail so it didn't come loose again. #crochet

The #PrairieCorridor smelled so good in #LNK this morning. There was a trail use detector set-up near the entrance for a user count in progress, so I felt good about doing my bit to keep the stats up. It was absolutely gorgeous out there. I hope y'all have time for a spirit-replenishing hobby today.

Anyone else in #LNK see what looked like a #sundog this morning? (Photo taken on Bison trail near Salt Creek bridge.) I've never seen one in warm weather before, so I'm not sure what this is.

The Denver “No Kings” demonstration is 95-year-old Dolores Taylor’s first protest. Seeing other people her age at the protest gives her hope, she said.

“We’re here, coming out against the Trump administration, because this is not the American way,” she said.

Was in KC with friends to see PJ Harvey opening for Sonic Youth like mid-oughts maybe? We were eating outside at a brewpub and spotted Thurston Moore quite a few tables away. Half of us got really loud & excited & the other half were like "shh, don't embarrass us in front of Thurston Moore"
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

George III’s power was limited by a constitution, established laws and conventions and in actuality, Parliament held significant power, controlling the budget & having the right to pass laws, which the King could not unilaterally override.

So… congratulations, America. You’ve out-kinged yourself!

Good news!! They have extended the public comment period until June 7th! So you still have time to submit!! The proposed rule could have huge negative impacts for the federal government, particularly the more technical agencies.
TODAY is the deadline for submitting public comments on the proposed rule to take away protections for civil servants, enabling them to be fired at will (when they don't fit the ruling party's interests). Here's my comment. I hope you'll submit too! #SaveNSF www.federalregister.gov/documents/20...
